Our Story

Starting back in 2017, as head of global risk management for a leading travel company, Dave Dennis started facilitating monthly calls with a network of risk management specialists from multiple organizations to discuss and problem-solve common business challenges. As word spread, this group grew from a few industry leaders to more than 140 registered participants representing more than 80 companies that continues to meet to this day.

Over time, Dave brought in guest speakers and industry experts to contribute to these group discussions, and in doing so, realized the overlapping needs of all domestic and international travel organizations. Each organization needed specialized support from risk management experts, physicians, and mental health professionals, but for most organizations, the cost of obtaining these essential resources was too expensive and difficult to find. That is…until Cornerstone came along.

Cornerstone Safety Group was formed to address these challenges with a common perspective: travel and experiential education organizations need comprehensive resources to manage evolving risks at an accessible price point. With this mission in mind, Dave partnered with some of the greatest experts in the field, formed an Advisory Board, and created Cornerstone Safety Group to provide world-class service and value to its members.

Cornerstone Safety Group, the first of its kind in the industry, provides peace of mind to industry leaders and helps protect you, your staff, your participants, and your business.
